West Side Beer Distributing is hiring for a Full-Time Off-Premise Sales Representative in Romulus

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys being out in the market, building customer partnerships, and growing business?
West Side Beer Distributing is looking for an Off-Premise Sales Representative to join our Sales Team. In this role, you'll manage an assigned territory of retail accounts, including grocery stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and other off-premise customers. You'll work with customers to grow sales, expand product distribution, and build string in-store execution while representing an outstanding portfolio of beverage brands.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Compensation: This position offers a $43,000 base salary, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $15,000 in performance-based incentives.

About the Role
As an Off-Premise Sales Representative, you'll serve as the primary business partner for customers throughout your territory. You'll build lasting relationships, identify opportunities to grow sales, introduce new products, execute supplier programs, and help customers succeed while expanding the presence of West Side Beer Distributing's portfolio.
This position combines consultative selling, territory management, customer service, and in-market execution. Every day is different, giving you the opportunity to make an impact with your customers and your business.
What You'll Do
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of off-premise retail accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers.
  • Achieve sales objectives for volume, distribution, and promotional execution.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product assortment and increase sales within existing accounts.
  • Place customer orders based on inventory levels, sales trends, and promotional activity.
  • Execute pricing, displays, point-of-sale materials, and supplier marketing programs.
  • Ensure products are properly stocked, rotated, and merchandised to company standards.
  • Monitor market conditions and competitive activity and communicate opportunities to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records using company sales technology and reporting tools.
  • Represent West Side Beer Distributing professionally while providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Two or more years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, account management, beverage distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), grocery sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
  • Experience working toward sales goals, performance metrics, or territory objectives.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Reliable Vehicle and proof of insurance coverage that meets company requirements
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a strong attention to detail
