Job description

Tristar Beverage is seeking a self motivated, highly organized team member to produce maximum sales and distribution of draft and/or package products and providing quality service to customers.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Adhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns
  • Build and maintain relationships with business owners and key decision-makers while providing quality customer service
  • Introduce and sell in new brands and packages, including activities to support sell-through, as necessary
  • Develop and execute required marketing programs such as retailer entertainment, sales promotions, consumer sampling and merchandising
  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Monitor and control inventory levels for each account by conducting a physical inventory and restocking all coolers and in store space and displays to provide maximum availability of products while maintaining quality control and freshness standards
  • Responsible for negotiating, obtaining, maintaining, and updating all Point-of-Sale materials at each retailer's location
  • Maintain current knowledge of all supplier brands and packages, pricing information, and promotional/marketing activities
  • Expected to meet the standards established and responsible for training and coaching Sales Assistants to meet those same standards

SAFETY
Due to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position. Attend safety training meetings, participate in safety training exercises/drills/ Complete all assigned safety training as required, which may include incident/accident corrective training, equipment recertification, and safety knowledge assessments.
The salesperson is expected to learn and master the company's internal sales processes and procedures in order to meet sales and execution goals.
We're looking for a great communicator with good knowledge of the market, who wants to learn the business and will drive sales and results through strong marketing program execution, great relationships with customers, innovative merchandising, and good attention to detail combined with excellent follow through.
We are looking for a person who is a true sales professional in actions, appearance, and results.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Driving record acceptable to the Company
  • Proof of automobile insurance
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Able to lift/bend/pull/push and work with minimal supervision
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as required (weekends, nights and holidays)
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws.
