Job description

Line Cleaner

The Line Cleaner is responsible for handling all scheduled maintenance, quality control and cleanliness of all draft accounts serving Atlanta Beverage Company draft products in accordance with Company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Effectively and efficiently handles all scheduled maintenance, quality control and cleanliness of all draft accounts serving Atlanta Beverage Company draft products in accordance with Company standards.
    • Thoroughly cleans draft beer lines, faucets, and all related equipment for pouring draught product.
    • Follows a schedule of service calls on all assigned accounts, visiting and thoroughly servicing each assigned account on a frequency of at least every 14 calendar days.
    • Organizes and maintains inventory control system of all equipment.
    • Sorts and picks-up all empties/breakage in accordance with Company policy.
  2. Accurately and legibly performs the line cleaner administrative procedures.
    • Accurately update and maintain entries in Draft Line Application, which includes information regarding draft services i.e., line cleaning logs, invoices, billings, etc.
    • Assists Draft Department in booking, setting-up and executing special events.
    • Obtains customer signature on all invoices and transactions conducted.
    • Collects all payments and returned checks from assigned accounts in accordance with established Company policies and procedures.
  3. Ensures vehicle is properly prepared for daily delivery in accordance with established Company policy.
    • The vehicle is inspected, and deficiencies are documented.
    • Reports all Company vehicle damage and required maintenance to the Shop and Safety Manager.
    • Always ensures security of vehicle.
    • The vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean and organized.
    • All equipment and tools are on the truck.
  4. Operates all Company vehicles in a safe, courteous manner and obeys all traffic regulations and Company safety policies.
    • No complaints received from the public through direct call-ins or through outside driver check service.
  5. Demonstrates effective customer service skills.
    • Interacts with external and internal customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships. Displays patience, courtesy, and tact.
    • Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary.
  6. Understands and complies with all Atlanta Beverage Company policies and procedures.
    • Understands and accurately applies the Anheuser-Busch Code Book.
    • Follows the established Company Rotation policy for all products
  7. Accurately performs any other duties as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
  8. The employee regularly reports to work at the scheduled starting time.
  9. The employee adheres to the established dress code.
    • Company approved clothing is neat and clean.
    • Employee is neatly groomed in accordance with Company policy.
    • Company approved shoes are neat and clean.
  10. Actively supports the Company's mission and vision philosophy.
    • Attends all required Company meetings.
    • Employee initiates and actively participates in personal growth and development plans.
    • Works with all co-workers to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Maintains security and confidentiality of all Company information.
Education/Experience
  • High School diploma required
  • One year experience in the beer industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
