Description

Ready to build a long-term career while traveling throughout Arizona and surrounding states? We’re looking for experienced HDPE Pipefitters to join our growing telecom construction team. This role will be responsible for installing, preparing, joining, and protecting HDPE conduit for fiber-optic infrastructure. Travel is required for this position. Projects are located throughout Arizona and surrounding states, with crews typically rotating to a new project location approximately every four weeks.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Install, lay out, align, and assemble HDPE (polyethylene) pipe ranging from 4” to 8” diameter in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements

  • Measure, cut and prepare HDPE pipe

  • Join HDPE conduit usingmanufacturer-specified adhesive bonding systems, including proper surface preparation, adhesive mixing/application, and curing procedures

  • Pull, place and secure conduit

  • Inspect completed joints and conduit runs

  • Assist with trenching, bedding, pipe placement, tie-ins, and backfill operations as required

  • Be willing and able to perform general manual labor when not actively fitting

  • Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in conduit installation preferably in underground utilities, telecommunications or civil construction

  • Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble conduit

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
