What You'll DoPersonal Care Services

You will provide hands-on support that helps clients remain safe and comfortable at home, including:

  • Bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, nail and skin care
  • Safe transfers and mobility assistance using gait belts and assistive devices
  • Repositioning and turning bed-bound clients to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown
  • Toileting assistance and incontinence care
  • Meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration support
  • Range-of-motion exercises
  • Overnight monitoring and ensuring client safety
  • Medication reminders (per agency policy)
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Maintaining accurate client documentation
  • Following all agency policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines
Household Support

Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment by assisting with:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Changing bed linens
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting
  • Kitchen clean-up (dishes, countertops, floors)
  • Bathroom cleaning
  • Client laundry
  • Grocery shopping and errands, when applicable
  • Other mutually agreed-upon duties

Required Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for serving others and supporting seniors with dignity and care
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as an in-home caregiver or in a senior care facility
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • CPR certification
  • Negative TB (PPD) test results or chest X-ray
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications
  • CNA certification (a plus, but not required)

Physical & Functional Requirements
  • Ability to safely provide personal care and assist with client mobility and supervision needs
  • Sufficient visual, hearing, and physical capacity to perform caregiving duties safely and effectively
