Performs all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health Protocols. Assists Radiologist with all fluoroscopic procedures and operates large C-arm and O-arm under the direction of the surgeon. Identifies each patient and reviews exam order for consistency with clinical diagnosis. Maintains constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of the health care team. Maintains department policies and procedures, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, and environmental standards. Ensures quality patient documentation through Vail Health HIS and PACS systems. Monitors supply inventory and maintains exam and dressing rooms. Role models Just Culture and Organizational Values. Must be HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations as per protocols.
  • Assist with fluoroscopic procedures and operate imaging equipment.
  • Ensure consistency of examination orders with clinical diagnosis.
  • Maintain communication for continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • ARRT (R) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
