Job description

**MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE!!**
Join a growing team in the tree care industry as a Ground Person, an entry-level role ideal for individuals new to the field or with limited experience. This position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to learn essential skills in tree care. As a Ground Person, you will play a key role in supporting tree climbers and crew leaders, ensuring safe and efficient job site operations. This is a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist tree climbers with the management and removal of brush, logs, and landscape debris
  • Operate equipment such as brush chippers and grapples to process logs and brush
  • Send tools and equipment to climbers as requested
  • Set up traffic cones and signage as directed by the crew leader
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the crew leader or immediate supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • Entry-level; no prior experience in tree care required
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
