Knothead Tree and Lawn Care is looking for an experienced Tree Climber in the Sedalia, CO area.

About the Role:

As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for climbing trees to perform pruning, trimming, and removal of branches or limbs. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure the safety of yourself and others while performing these tasks. Your main goal will be to maintain the health and appearance of trees while ensuring the safety of the surrounding environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven previous experience as a tree climber (NON-RECREATIONAL)
  • Knowledge of use with equipment such as chainsaws and chippers
  • Ability to climb trees and work at heights
  • Knowledge of tree species and their growth habits
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • ISA Certification is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as an arborist or tree worker
  • Experience with tree care and maintenance
  • Ability to identify and diagnose tree diseases and pests
  • Experience with rigging and dismantling large trees
  • Experience with crane-assisted tree removal

Responsibilities:

  • Climbing trees to perform pruning, trimming, and removal of branches or limbs
  • Using ropes, harnesses, and other equipment to safely climb and work in trees
