Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Setting: K-12 School-Based
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Contract Length: 39 Weeks
Start Date: August 21, 2026
Pay: Up to $72/hour Local | Travel Package Available

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school-based team supporting K-12 students. This Autism Consultant role focuses on partnering with educators and school staff to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviors through consultation, assessment, training, and behavior intervention planning.

This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple school sites, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful impact on student success throughout the school year.

Assignment Details
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct behavioral evaluations and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide consultation and ongoing support to teachers, administrators, and related service providers
  • Train school staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Observe students and assess behavioral needs across educational settings
  • Monitor intervention effectiveness and make recommendations for adjustments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Teaching, or a related field
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR certification if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
  • Current health certificate as required by state or contract regulations
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing behavior analytic services within school settings
  • At least one year of pediatric experience
  • Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and high behavioral needs
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
