Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital is a state-of-the-art 150-bed hospital in Holyoke, MA operated jointly by Lifepoint Behavioral Health and Baystate Health.

Position Overview:
We are recruiting a part time Psychiatrist to assist in patient management within our DMH inpatient unit. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Forensic Psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in an inpatient setting.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate and professional manner.

  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision as needed.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.

  • Active Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain one.

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
