Job description

Job Description
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider, who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, serves as a medical imaging professional providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role and responsibilities include providing diagnostic medial sonographer services and its various clinical specialties. The activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policy and procedures and applicable professional standards.
Schedule:
  • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks
  • Night Shift | Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6:30pm-7:00am
Pay and Benefits:
  • Pay starting at $39.39 per hour, pay determined by experience
    • Pay range: $38.79- $58.19 per hour
  • $2,500 hiring bonus
  • This role is eligible for Baylor pay

  • Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available
Qualifications:
  • Certificate Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or
  • Associate or Bachelors of Applied Science Degree Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Card
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) ARDMS Credentialed in one of the following (credentials in multiple specialties preferred):
    1) Abdomen
    2) OBGYN
    3) Pediatric
    4) MSK
  • ARDMS Breast credentials required to rotate through Breast Center
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) RVT Registered within 6 months
  • Vascular Experience Preferred

  • To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
