Responsibilities
  • Prepare simulation databases (OOB, terrain, parameters, control measures) and coordinate interfaces and data flows across EXCON tools.
  • Operate and monitor simulations during execution (WARSIM/JLCCTC); troubleshoot federation issues; maintain exercise timelines and injects.
  • Support OPFOR and training audience replication through constructive effects, adjudication, and accurate battle tracking.
  • Collect, normalize, and visualize data to support AARs and trend analysis; contribute to scenario refinement and tool improvements.
Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship.
  • 3-5+ years in Modeling & Simulation, OR strong military staff/analyst background with proven technical aptitude.
  • Handson experience with any constructive or virtual sims (e.g., WARSIM, OneSAF, JCATS) or C2 stimulation environments.
  • Solid Excel/data skills; ability to learn JEMM/CPCE and internal EXCON tools.
Desired
  • Prior MCTP/NTC/JRTC exercise support; scripting, SQL, or Python for data handling; GIS/terrain tools.
  • Familiarity with Army/Joint doctrine and WfF integration.
$70,000 - $90,000 a year
Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance requirements, internal equity, and customer or contract requirements.
