We offer a broad spectrum of commercial and residential HVAC and facilities services, from rooftop to foundation and everything in between. In addition to HVAC repairs and maintenance, our portfolio of facilities services includes on-site personnel for building management operations and maintenance.

Job Summary

EMCOR Services Betlem is looking for on-site facilities personnel with 3-5 years of experience to perform and provide electrical system service and various types of general facilities work; power, control and security wiring, preventative maintenance, misc. repairs, general maintenance and assure that tasks assigned are organized, performed safely, and completed on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs support for general building operations and needs.  Performs electrical work required for installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment, systems and facilities.
  • Performs electrical work required for installation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution systems equipment including, but not limited to: generators, transformers, MCC switchboards and controllers, circuit breaker panels, variable frequency drives, life safety equipment, UPS, electrical motors, lighting systems including grounding systems and equipment grounding, batteries, and battery charging devices.
  • Performs electrical repairs of starters, breakers, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
  • Performs re-lamping and/or repairs of light fixtures and components both indoor and outdoor.
  • Performs periodic operation, inspects, maintains, repairs, or assists in the repairs of the buildings Energy Management System & Building Automated System, Fire Safety System, and Lighting Systems when required.
  • Conducts daily/weekly tours of mechanical spaces, public areas, and building grounds.
  • Traces wire pulls for phone and data drops and assists outside vendors on projects when needed.
  • Provides information for input to client work order tracking system to initiate electrical work for unscheduled jobs, develops materials lists for ordering and provides technical support for projects as required.
  • Responds to emergency situations and traces, troubleshoots and repairs electrical problems
  • Procurement of materials and inventory management as directed by client
  • Engineering and operations and project support
  • The scope of this job is not limited to only electrical assignments, you will be expected to assist with other trades working as a general mechanic as needed
  • After hours response to emergencies
  • Workstation and office configurations
  • Communicate with the client and our staff to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Notify management immediately of any significant problems.
  • Work to immediately resolve any problems that may arise.
  • Comply with corporate policy on safety, work ethics and time constraints.
  • Plan ahead on projects to ensure the highest level of productivity on the job.
  • Account for your time each week on client time tickets.
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
  • Completes work in accordance with EMCOR Business Systems Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
