AmeriQual Foods, an Evansville, IN based food manufacturing facility is now hiring directly into the Batching department. Batchers are responsible for ensuring proper ingredient identification and usage and the proper handling, transport, and weighing of ingredients.
1st Shift: 5a-2:30p
2nd Shift: 2pm-12:30am
Duties and responsibilities
  • Obtain proper ingredients by verifying item and lot numbers specific to the product
  • Weigh ingredients while following written procedures and using proper Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Document all lot numbers and any lot number changes
  • Use different machinery to aid in weighing ingredients, including Hydroflakers, Murzan Pumps, and Grinders
  • Manage time to ensure continuous production

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous manufacturing experience required; Food Manufacturing / experience handling raw materials preferred
  • Must show demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to follow verbal and written batching techniques, legibly complete documentation paperwork, and comply with all company GMPs.
  • Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in both hot and cold environments
  • Must possess excellent work ethic and communication skills, with the ability to work both individually and as a contributing member of a team.
