Production Batching Operator, Thomasville, NC

Starting Pay: $21.00

Available Shift: 1st Shift, 3:30am – 11:30am, Monday - Friday

As a Production Batching Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn about the raw materials needed used in batch making process
  • Setting up, mixing, and/or delivering production chemicals used in manufacturing or process areas where accuracy of chemical composition is important in process operation.
  • Add raw and verify materials to kettles
  • Add and verify oil weigh-up
  • Properly perform scrapping of kettle
  • Properly verify pigment
  • Operate forklift as needed
  • Stage rework

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
  • Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
  • Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
