Syrup Blender Role Overview

Manufactures syrup that is used in the bottling process from concentrate.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Blends syrup.
  • Calculates number of concentrate flavor units required by converting production case figures to equivalent finished gallons of syrup.
  • Builds recipes to specifications.
  • Receives concentrate and high fructose corn syrup.
  • Maintains concentrate and high fructose corn syrup inventory.
  • Conducts associated lab duties.
  • Follows all company rules and regulations.
  • Performs housekeeping duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. One (1) year production or technical experience preferred.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills, good written and oral communication skills, and good organizational skills required.
  • An analytical thought process and good hand/eye coordination required.
  • Must be able to follow established procedures without deviation.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
