Job description

We are looking for a BATCH OPERATOR to join our Aurora, Oregon plant. You will be the first step in the quality process to ensure our customers' satisfaction by blending our products timely and accurately. The Batch Operator is responsible for accurately mixing chemicals, preparing equipment, and processing raw materials to produce high-quality finished products. This role plays a key part in meeting daily production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr. increase after 90 days depending on your job performance. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Maintenance, and more. About the Role
Responsibilities:
  • Follow formulas and production instructions precisely, including ingredient sequencing and raw material codes, to ensure consistent product quality
  • Weigh, measure, and manually load ingredients into mixers according to specifications; take samples, coordinate with Quality Control, and make adjustments as needed
  • Operate mixing and blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor automated systems when required
  • Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, maintenance reports, calibration records, and shift handoff documentation
  • Assist with packaging and material handling as needed to support production flow
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA requirements, actively participating in safety training and reporting or correcting unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

About You
We Require:
  • Great work ethic and impeccable attendance
  • Prior batch or blending experience preferred, but training is available
  • Solid previous work experience required
  • Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions
  • Experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred - Experience operating a forklift, but not required
  • Ability to wear a respirator and all required PPE's
  • Must be clean-shaven in accordance with OSHA respirator requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED required
