We are looking for an experienced working foreman with great technical knowledge as well as effective leadership abilities.

Job Description:

  • This is a working foreman position.
  • Oversee, plan, and manage a crew of up to 15 electricians to the successful completion of a project within budget and on time.
  • You will be organizing and planning the project, including assessing future material and manpower needs, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safety.
  • Other work responsibilities include evaluating employees' progress, motivating fast production, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems.
  • You will be working with the project manager, client, and the crew to provide high quality work at a fast pace, meeting budgets and targets.
  • You will be expected to direct and motivate your crew to perform at their best, keeping up high morale and enthusiasm.
  • You will be responsible for the documentation of tool tracking, material orders, schedules, attendance, and reports, using digital and manual means.

Requirements:

  • Must have previous foreman experience and must know how to run an efficient jobsite
  • Must have an SST SUPERVISOR CARD (OSHA 40 plus 22hrs additional training)
  • Impeccable technical skills
  • Willing and able to work with your tools while overseeing the progress of the job.
  • Adept at using technology, working on tablets and apps for record keeping
  • Read blueprints and be able to lay out jobs
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Physically Fit: Able to lift 50 lbs. or more, be on their feet all day, climb/descend ladders
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Can provide 3 work related references
