Job description

Elite Workforce LLC is seeking motivated and safety-focused Marine Tank Cleaners to perform cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of tanks, vessels, barges, and marine-related equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in industrial and marine environments, following strict safety procedures, and performing physically demanding work in confined spaces when required.



Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, wash, degas, and prepare marine tanks, barges, vessels, and related equipment.
  • Operate pressure washers, pumps, hoses, vacuum trucks, and other cleaning equipment.
  • Remove sludge, residue, chemicals, and waste materials from tanks in accordance with company and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct confined space entry activities while following all OSHA, Coast Guard, and company safety requirements.
  • Assist with tank inspections before and after cleaning operations.
  • Set up and maintain ventilation equipment and safety monitoring devices.
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures and hazard communication requirements.
  • Complete job-related paperwork, safety documentation, and inspection reports.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform additional labor and maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in marine, industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, shipyard, refinery, or petrochemical environments preferred.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
