Job description

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a General Laborer to manage and maintain construction site cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include clearing debris, loading/unloading materials, assisting with concrete preparation, and setting up safety barriers. The role requires physical labor, the ability to lift 50-100 lbs., basic construction tool knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Job Location – Apopka, FL

Start Date – Immediate/ASAP


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean construction sites of debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment.
  • Assist with the mixing and preparation of concrete, and other construction materials.
  • Organize and maintain materials and tools in designated areas.
  • Set up and maintain barriers, signs, and cones to ensure the safety of the site and pedestrians.
  • Assist with marking and laying out construction areas according to project plans.
  • Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s License required/ with own transportation
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Capable of lifting 50 to 100 lbs. regularly
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
