About Us:
D-BAT Virginia Beach is dedicated to developing young athletes and fostering a love for the game of baseball and softball. We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable instructors to join our team. Our goal is to provide high-quality training to players of all skill levels and help them reach their full potential.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic baseball and softball instructors (multiple positions available) who can teach various aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. Candidates with a strong background in pitching and/or catching instruction will be prioritized during the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group lessons for players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Focus on techniques, mechanics, and strategies, while also addressing other fundamental skills as needed.
  • Develop customized training plans to meet the specific needs of each player.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help athletes improve.
  • Communicate with parents about player's training sessions.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in baseball and softball.
Qualifications:

  • Previous experience college playing experience; or significant coaching experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
  • Knowledge of current techniques and training methods.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
