Position Summary
We're looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced group training environment, enjoys building relationships, and is committed to helping athletes of all ages improve their performance, confidence, and overall health.
What You'll Do
  • Lead high-energy group training sessions for youth athletes and adults
  • Coach one-on-one personal training sessions and team training programs
  • Create a positive, motivating, and supportive training environment
  • Teach proper movement mechanics and exercise technique
  • Modify exercises based on age, ability, injuries, or limitations
  • Help reduce injury risk through quality movement and proper progression
  • Build lasting relationships with members and their families
  • Hold athletes accountable and encourage long-term success
  • Start and finish every session on time while maintaining a professional atmosphere
  • Provide guidance on training, recovery, and basic nutrition
  • Assist with athlete assessments and program recommendations
  • Help maximize member retention through exceptional coaching and customer service
Qualifications
Required
  • Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain before employment)
  • Nationally accredited fitness certification (NCCA-approved), such as NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience coaching strength & conditioning, personal training, team training, or group fitness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate athletes of all ages and fitness levels
  • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • Experience working with youth athletes
  • Experience coaching sports performance
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
