We have opportunities available for community coaches. While these are mainly volunteer activities, the district does offer a moderate stipend for the investment of your time.
The following are currently available:
Golf Coach, JV Baseball Coach and Robotics Coach.
The supplements for each are as follows:
Varsity Golf- $1900
JV Baseball- $1900
Robotics Coach- $1000
Provides coaching, instruction, and development for students whom are participating in the stated sport or event.
Attends scheduled practices and scheduled events
Manages practices, drills, and other activities associated with the coaching and development of required skills
Promotes participation in the sport or event
Adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations that apply to student athletes and/or the oversight of student athletes
Promotes good sportsmanship and respectful behavior at all times
Adheres to the direction and guidance provided by the Athletics and Activities Director
Required Education and Experience:
An Associate's degree or higher; or completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education
2 years prior experience working with students in a coaching
Preferred Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree
2 years specific experience in specific sport or activity for which you are being considered.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: To perform the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, or hear. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required on an occasional basis. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision and distance vision.
