Supply Base Management Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participates in managing supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
  • Gathers and reviews data for use in supplier performance evaluations
  • Identifies and communicates potential risks and issues
  • Provides support in the development of mitigation plans
  • Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance
  • Supports the development and implementation of supplier project plans

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • More than 1 year of experience working in a multi-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience working directly with supplier management
  • More than 1 year of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
  • More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations
  • More than 1 year of experience working in supplier management, engineering and/or operations

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
