Job description

Job Summary:
CPI Card Group is a fast-growing high-tech company that understands the need for a comprehensive information management environment. They are seeking a Base Operations Manager to lead on-site contractor personnel, manage operational activities, and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Lead all on‑site contractor personnel and manage readiness, training, schedules, conflict resolution, and day‑to‑day team oversight.
• Coordinate all shared Tier 2 operational activities with the Communications Squadron and the Communications Focal Point and escalate Tier 3 matters to the Operations Engineering Lead.
• Prepare and deliver upgrade and proficiency training for Communications Squadron personnel for both legacy and modernized network environments.
• Tailor training programs provided by the PMO Operations Manager to meet base‑specific operational, facility, and mission needs.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineering, Safety, Environmental offices, and Security Forces for access, compliance, and safety requirements.
• Manage base‑level operational schedules including maintenance windows, cutovers, change execution, and restoration activities.
• Ensure operational execution conforms with engineering baselines, approved procedures, and mission constraints.
• Maintain privileged access rosters and ensure compliance with all base access and authorization controls.
• Validate AMF and IUID asset records and provide accurate inputs for SLA and performance reporting.
• Provide daily operational updates to the PMO Operations Manager and coordinate with the Infrastructure Deployment Manager to deconflict modernization and operational activities.
• Enforce safety, OPSEC, and base access requirements for all on‑site personnel.
• Identify and escalate operational risks early and coordinate mitigation actions with PMO and Communications Squadron leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Seven (7) years experience leading on‑site technical teams and field personnel
• Seven (7) years experience IT Service Management
• Incident response/Incident Management Expertise
• DoD 8140 IAT II baseline certification such as Security Plus CE.
• Ability to manage a twenty‑four hour on‑call rotation.
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred:
• ServiceNow ITSM proficiency
• Familiarity with ITIL service management processes
