We are a Kohler Engine and Briggs & Stratton Certified repair facility specializing in engine-driven equipment from top brands like Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric. We keep local businesses moving through reliable shop repairs and maintenance, and we are looking for a versatile mechanic to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, bilingual individual who can balance hands-on mechanical work with client-facing shop duties. You will spend your day troubleshooting small engines, greeting our commercial customers in Spanish and English, and safely managing equipment loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Small Engine Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain 4-stroke small engines.
  • Brand-Specific Service: Perform certified repairs and routine maintenance on Kohler and Briggs & Stratton engine systems.
  • Customer Service: Warmly greet incoming clients, check in their machinery, and communicate details effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Shop Logistics: Safely load and unload industrial machinery, welders, and engine-driven equipment from customer vehicles.
  • Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace layout.

Position Requirements:

  • Language: Must be completely fluent in Spanish to effectively serve and greet our customer base.
  • Tools: Must possess and bring your own basic mechanical hand tools for daily shop tasks.
  • Experience: Proven hands-on experience with small engines, 4-stroke mechanics, and familiarity with Kohler and Briggs & Stratton systems.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a polite, professional attitude.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to safely lift and handle heavy machinery during loading/unloading tasks.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus, but not required):

  • Active factory certifications from Kohler or Briggs & Stratton.
  • Experience handling or operating Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric welding equipment.
