THE POSITION
The Training Site Venue Transport Supervisor will play a pivotal role within the FIFA26 Transport team, collaborating closely with the FIFA26 Team Services team. This position is responsible for assisting with the conceptualization and operational planning of all transportation operations provided to FIFA constituents at Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites. We are looking for a self-starter and multitasker who thrives under pressure and is committed to following through on tasks.
Key responsibilities and oversights of the Training Site Venue Transport Supervisor for the FIFA World Cup 26TM include:
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient operations at training sites.
  • Assist the Manager in developing plans and budgets while managing all operational activities for Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Create comprehensive Transport Plans for all FIFA constituents at Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Help develop interim access plans for FIFA Club World Cup Training Sites.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to secure necessary agreements and approvals.
  • Collaborate with all FIFA26 Functional Areas and transport systems to align plans with overall transport proposals.
  • Assist managing contracted staff at each Training Site
  • Coordinate with Security to ensure transport plans are integrated with security measures at all Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
  • Create walkthroughs, testing, and readiness exercise plans.
  • Support the delivery of transport services for all test events leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026

Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
  • Master's Degree is an additional asset

Work Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Transport work experience: ideally within the football, sport, event or two (2) years of experience as a Venue Transport Manager, or two (2) years equivalent management position.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients. Individual must be motivated, capable of working independently, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Venue, sites and facilities operation experience within at least one mega project event, ideally more than one world class sport event (e.g. FIFA World Cup and / or Olympic Games, Regional Football Tournaments, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of transit operations involved in moving FIFA Constituents by vehicles, including city layout

Languages
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software including Monday.com and online collaboration tools
