Job description

Summary:

The Bridgewater Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an RN in our Operating Room.  Assumes responsibility for providing patient care in accordance with established standards of perioperative professional nursing care and in compliance with all Bridgewater Ambulatory Surgery Center (BASC) policies and procedures.  Uses critical care skills as a surgical team member. Uses an understanding of principles of growth and development to assess each surgical patient's age-specific treatment and care.  Provides an environment of constant vigilance where basic life sustaining needs are of highest priority. 

Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.   BSN preferred.

Current NJ Registered Nurse license.

 Minimum of 2 years OR experience; CNOR preferred

 BLS certification required; telemetry certification or ACLS preferred

 Leadership, critical care assessment skills and high motivation desired.
