Position Overview
This Faculty member teaches upper-division Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Supervision and Management courses to students pursuing a Bachelor Degree.
Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Develops curricula
  • Maintains department standards
  • Recruits and participates in retention of students
  • Serves on committees
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) or Doctorate in Management related discipline preferred
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Master's Degree in Management; or Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Management or a Management related discipline
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Experience with applied learning methodologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments
