BAS Field Engineer
BAS Field EngineerPosition Overview The BAS Field Engineer will be responsible for the installation, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) in various commercial and industrial environments. The role requires a strong understanding of HVAC controls and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors and clients to ensure system functionality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure Building Automation Systems (BAS) according to project specifications.
- Program and commission HVAC controls and systems to optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BAS installations and operations.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide training and support to clients on BAS operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system installations and changes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls.
- Familiarity with Automated Logic Controls (ALC) and programming techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Niagra programming is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
