Fiddler's Creek Golf Club, located in Naples, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for an Assistant General Manager! Position Summary:
The Assistant General Manager will serve as a key operational partner to the General Manager, with primary responsibility for the strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership of all Food & Beverage operations.
 
This individual will champion a culture of anticipatory service, culinary excellence, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every member and guest interaction reflects the club’s commitment to distinction and personalized hospitality. 
 
Core Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Leadership & Excellence:
  • Provide visionary leadership across all dining venues, bars, event operations, and social programming.
  • Uphold the highest standards of culinary quality, presentation, and service precision, in partnership with culinary leadership.
  • Curate and oversee a refined beverage program, including:
    • Thoughtfully selected wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings
    • Inventory management and cost control
    • Menu engineering and pricing strategies aligned with a luxury experience
  • Ensure seamless execution of member dining, private events, and club gatherings, with an emphasis on elegance and consistency.
Member Experience & Hospitality:
  • Cultivate a culture rooted in genuine, personalized service and relationship-driven hospitality.
  • Actively engage with board members, house committee co-chairs and members to anticipate preferences, recognize patterns, and create memorable experiences.
  • Address feedback with discretion, professionalism, and urgency, ensuring member satisfaction at all levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement through thoughtful analysis of member insights and service trends.
Team Leadership & Culture Development:
  • Attract, mentor, and retain a high-caliber service team committed to excellence.
  • Lead and inspire department heads including Food & Beverage Managers, and Service Teams including H2B's.
  • Foster a polished, professional environment that reflects the standards of a premier private golf club.
  • Develop schedules and staffing models that balance exceptional service delivery with operational efficiency.
Financial Stewardship:
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of annual budgets and strategic plans, with an emphasis on F&B performance.
  • Monitor and manage key metrics including:
    • Labor and productivity
    • Cost of goods sold
    • Beverage performance and inventory variance
  • Implement thoughtful cost controls while preserving the integrity of the member experience.
  • Oversee accurate and timely completion of inventories across all F&B outlets.
Clubhouse & Facility Oversight:
  • Ensure all dining and social spaces uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness.
  • Partner with facilities and club leadership to maintain an environment that reflects the club’s prestige and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, fine dining, or resort environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading high-end Food & Beverage operations with a focus on member satisfaction and experience curation.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and professional presence.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams within a service-centric culture.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a refined, fast-paced setting.
