Food & Beverage Manager

Full weekend availability required

Lead a Lively, Guest-Focused Food and Beverage Operation

Tanque Verde Flea Market is seeking an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our concessions, bars, special events, and third-party food vendors.

This role is ideal for a strong leader who enjoys developing teams, improving operations, controlling costs, and creating memorable guest experiences. Working closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager, you will help ensure each food and beverage outlet operates safely, efficiently, and profitably.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee the daily operation of concessions, bars, and third-party food vendors.
  • Ensure all locations are properly staffed, stocked, clean, and ready for service.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and support Food and Beverage team members.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities and assignments.
  • Monitor food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
  • Review sales, labor costs, and departmental performance against established goals.
  • Manage ordering and inventory for food, beer, wine, liquor, and operating supplies.
  • Complete weekly and monthly inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Review payroll information and help ensure employee time records are accurate.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Build positive working relationships with third-party vendors, including Comida Park vendors.
  • Collect and reconcile third-party food-vendor revenue.
  • Coordinate Food and Beverage operations for holidays, special events, and other high-volume market days.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and company standards.
  • Coordinate maintenance and equipment-repair needs.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Previous Food and Beverage management experience.
  • Current Pima County Food Manager Certification.
  • Experience managing employees, schedules, labor costs, inventory, and daily operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple outlets and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in concessions, bars, festivals, fairs, entertainment venues, flea markets, or other high-volume food-service operations.
  • Alcohol-service certification or related training.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
