Job description

Town Pump is looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Barista Attendant to join our team. Town Pump is a growing company, with ever increasing opportunities for career growth.
As a Barista Attendant, you will:
  • be primarily assigned to the STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS of Town Pump, Inc. Convenience ("C") Stores. Be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, and coffee counter sales and preparation.
  • fulfill customer orders for food and beverage items by following STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS recipes for espressos, lattes, frappes, and coffee combinations.
  • work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Build positive relationships with customers, suggest products, and assist customers with merchandise location.
  • operate the cash register, giving correct change, scanning credit cards and checks. Complete shift paperwork accurately and completely, answer phone calls, clean, and maintain the coffee counter.
  • advise the supervisor of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance, use fire extinguisher and other safety equipment as needed, follow vendor check-in procedures, listen, and handle customer complaints, utilize price book, safety manual, and store rest room logs.
  • maintain storefront, customer seating areas, parking, exterior windows, and sidewalks, including shoveling (seasonal).
