Job description

MAG USA, Inc. is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Material Technician/Forklift Operator to join our team at our Clinton, Tennessee facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of our logistics and material functions - forklift operation, keeping product moving, inventory accurate, and the warehouse running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to move and stage materials throughout the facility
  • Perform inventory control and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock records
  • Utilize handheld scanners for receiving, picking, and shipping functions
  • Follow and uphold all workplace safety standards at all times
  • Report equipment issues, discrepancies, or abnormalities promptly to supervisor
  • Support teammates and assist in other warehouse functions as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & experience

  • 2+ years of forklift operation experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, barcode scanning, and general warehouse functions
  • Proficient in basic math skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with others

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively throughout the shift
