Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, operating various types of heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of inventory within the warehouse.


SHIFT: 1st (7:30 am-4:30 pm, Mon-Fri)


Duties

  • Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate forklifts, both sit-down and stand-up to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments, preparing goods for dispatch, and maintaining shipping documentation.
  • Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas efficiently and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Use barcode scanning for logistics tasks such as order picking, inventory tracking, and stock replenishment.
  • Participate in manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or repetitive movements as required.


Requirements

  • Proven experience operating forklifts within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with order picking & packing processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately..
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
