Job description

United Electronic Services (UES) provides repair, maintenance and sale of industry equipment such as barcode scanners to various industries including retail and manufacturing.
The Regional Sales Representative role is primarily responsible for maintaining relationships and interacting with major accounts to sell new and refurbished point-of-sale, scanning, handheld mobile computer devices and IT repair services. Our target customers are large retailers, manufacturers, distribution centers, and other companies using scanning equipment. Additional responsibilities include developing new prospects and establishing customers. This role requires knowledge of the POS/Handheld industry as well as the ability to work independently and build and maintain strong working relationships. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver a high level of quality service.
This is a hybrid position with 2 days remote and 3 days in-office.
Essential Functions:
  • Increasing sales and repairs for existing accounts as well as establishing new business accounts
  • Maintain and manage the company's eBay presence including product listings and customer communications
  • Consistent follow-up with existing accounts
  • Account management: Identify, pursue, and onboard new sales and repair accounts
  • Utilize company systems, including Concur, for expense reporting and related business processes
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and forecasts using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Works closely with Technicians and internal operational teams
  • Individual contributor role with no direct reports
  • Travel is as needed based on business opportunities and client needs (All business travel expenses, including transportation and lodging, are covered by the company)
  • May include travel to: Customer sites to present products and services & Trade shows and industry events

Education:
  • High School Diploma required
  • 2 Year Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing preferred
  • Previous industry related sales/business development experience in lieu of degree

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience selling or supporting: Refurbished and new POS equipment, handheld computers, barcode scanning equipment and repair services preferred
  • Microsoft Office preferred
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive, professional attitude
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and accountability
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and outgoing personality
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, establish deadlines, and meet commitments
  • Strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
