Job description

Security Duties

  • Greet guests, check IDs, and ensure all patrons meet age requirements.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd flow to maintain safety and capacity limits.
  • Patrol inside and outside areas of the bar to prevent disturbances.
  • De-escalate conflicts and safely remove disruptive or intoxicated patrons when necessary.
  • Protect staff and guests by responding quickly to emergencies.
  • Complete incident reports and communicate issues to management.

Bar Back Duties

  • Restock liquor, beer, wine,ice, and bar supplies.
  • Assist bartenders during busy shifts by organizing supplies.
  • Change kegs and replenish bottled or canned beverages.
  • Clear empty glasses, trash, and bottles to maintain a clean bar area.
  • Ensure the bar area is organized, safe, and fully stocked for service.

Qualifications:

  • Prior security, bar back, or restaurant experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Strong communication, observation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle physical interventions if necessary.
  • Professional, respectful, and calm under pressure.
  • Night, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Work Environment:
