Job description

Restaurant Supervisor / FOH Supervisor (Seasonal)
Sheraton Oceanfront โ€“ 3501 Atlantic Ave
Solete & Cabanas | Indoor Dining โ€ข Indoor/Outdoor Bars โ€ข Patio Service

The Sheraton Oceanfront is seeking a hands-on, floor-focused Restaurant Supervisor to support Solete & Cabanas, including indoor dining, indoor/outdoor bars, and patio service. This is a seasonal leadership role responsible for ensuring strong guest engagement, service execution, safety, and cleanliness standards while actively supporting the team during high-volume periods.

This position is not a back-office role โ€” the supervisor is expected to lead from the floor, welcome guests, support service, and maintain a polished, upbeat environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide active leadership on the floor during service periods

  • Welcome guests and set the tone for a positive dining and bar experience

  • Support servers, bartenders, and hosts to ensure smooth service flow

  • Monitor and enforce service, safety, and cleanliness standards

  • Assist with opening and closing responsibilities

  • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally

  • Support staffing adjustments and floor coverage during peak periods

  • Maintain organization of host stand, dining room, bars, and patio areas

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams

  • Ensure compliance with alcohol service standards and responsible service

What This Role Is Ideal For

  • Strong server or bartender ready to step into leadership

  • Experienced seasonal supervisor who enjoys high-energy environments

  • Hospitality professional who prefers leading from the floor, not an office

Schedule
Seasonal role with flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Join a team focused on great energy, strong service, and memorable oceanfront guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant FOH leadership or supervisor experience required

  • Bar experience required (knowledge of bar operations and service flow)

  • Ability to lead in a high-volume, fast-paced seasonal environment

  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills

  • Professional, visible, and approachable leadership style

  • Ability to remain calm and decisive during busy service periods

  • Weekend, holiday, and peak seasonal availability required

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and move quickly between service areas
