We’re looking for a Bar Manager who is passionate about hospitality, loves developing people, and takes pride in running an organized, welcoming, and high-performing bar. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working alongside their team, coaching bartenders, sharing their knowledge of craft beer and beverages, and leading every shift with confidence and positivity.

Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll serve as a key holder and Manager on Duty while overseeing the day-to-day bar operation. You’ll help maintain our beverage program, train and mentor the bar team, manage inventory and ordering, and ensure every pint, cocktail, and guest interaction reflects the high standards our guests have come to expect from Silver Branch.

What You’ll DoLead the Bar
  • Set the standard for hospitality, professionalism, and beverage execution.
  • Lead shifts as Manager on Duty and support the taproom team throughout service.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for beer, cocktails, spirits, and beverage knowledge.
  • Build relationships with regular guests while creating memorable experiences for new ones.
  • Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Support the Beverage Program
  • Ensure every beverage is prepared consistently and to Silver Branch standards.
  • Execute seasonal features and signature cocktails while maintaining our established recipes and quality standards.
  • Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and organization.
  • Help maintain our draft system and ensure our award-winning beer is always served at its best.
  • Monitor beverage costs, reduce waste, and help keep the bar running efficiently.
Develop the Team
  • Train and coach bartenders on hospitality, beer knowledge, cocktails, and service standards.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and provide real-time coaching during service.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
  • Lead by example every shift.
What We’re Looking ForHospitality Leadership
  • Two or more years of bartending, restaurant, brewery, taproom, or hospitality leadership experience.
  • A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences and building relationships with guests and teammates.
  • A hands-on leader who enjoys coaching others, leading by example, and jumping in wherever needed.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm, positive, and solutions-focused during busy shifts.
  • A commitment to fostering a respectful, accountable, and welcoming team culture.
  • Passion for craft beer and a desire to continually expand your beverage knowledge.
  • Confidence educating guests and teammates on beer, cocktails, wine, and other beverage offerings.
  • Experience with beverage inventory, ordering, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone® certification is preferred. If not already certified, a willingness to obtain Certified Beer Server certification within 90 days of hire.
Organization & Operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, Microsoft Office, and hospitality technology.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt quickly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Full-time position averaging approximately 35–40 hours per week, including Manager on Duty shifts and administrative responsibilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.
  • Ability to safely navigate all areas of the brewery, taproom, and bar.
  • Frequently bend, reach, squat, twist, lift, and carry items associated with restaurant operations.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally move heavier items, including kegs and cases, with appropriate equipment or assistance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and guest service.
