Responsibilities

The Bar Steward at Monarch Casino Resort Spa plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar and delivering outstanding customer service. The following is a detailed description of the Bar Steward's responsibilities and expectations:

  1. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The Bar Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, countertops, and equipment, and ensuring that all bar sections are tidy and presentable.

  2. Customer Interaction: Providing exceptional service to guests by taking drink orders accurately, serving beverages, and addressing any requests or concerns to enhance their experience

  3. Inventory Management: Assisting in monitoring and managing the inventory of bar supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and other necessary items, to ensure that they are adequately stocked and available during shifts.

  4. Collaboration: Working closely with bartenders, waitstaff, and other team members to ensure a seamless service experience, especially during busy periods, which includes efficiently coordinating orders and requests

  5. Cash Handling: Handling transactions, including processing payments, managing the cash register, and ensuring accurate cash flow and reporting.
