Description: Please use this link to complete an application on our Company Career Page: https://lessingsinc.peoplematter.jobs/ Position: Bar Manager Job Duties & Responsibilities: -Oversee the service of beverage operation along with food service & maintain overall responsibility for bar service. -Ensure cash procedures are adhered to and strictly monitored. -Ensure the bar runs smoothly on a daily basis and are adequately stocked with all necessary goods. -Lead, inspire, and motivate the team to promote a positive work environment and achieve sales and profits. -Develop a high end cocktail program using local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. -Ensure bar and bar area will always be left cleaned and organized by all bar staff after shifts and at the end of each day. -Ensure all stocking, side work, prep work and training is done for smooth service and operations at all times. -Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary. -Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers. -Train and develop the team to ensure food & beverage services that meet customers' expectations. -Comply with federal, state, local, and all legislative and licensing requirements. -Communicates real time with senior management on issues and opportunities. -Hire, train and terminate all bar staff and insure all operations are fully staffed as needed to have the best quality customer experience and profitability. -Responsible for weekly liquor costs and inventory.
