Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As Bar Manager, you will lead the daily execution of an elevated beverage program while ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and strong financial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all daily bar operations, service readiness, and presentation standards
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a polished, high-performing bar team
  • Managing beverage ordering, inventory, invoices, and cost controls
  • Ensuring all beverage menus, POS updates, and recipes remain accurate and current
  • Monitoring guest service to deliver warm, refined, and memorable hospitality
  • Upholding company standards for cleanliness, organization, cash handling, and compliance
  • Driving bar revenue while maintaining labor and beverage costs within budget
  • Serving as a key member of the restaurant’s leadership team during opening and closing shifts

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess strong bartending skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in fine dining or upscale casual restaurants. (high-volume experience preferred)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 2+ years of bar management experience in upscale, luxury, or fine dining preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktails
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems, beverage cost, labor management, and ordering
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Ability to lead both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • English fluency required
