At PEJU, we strive to be the highlight of every guest's visit to the Napa Valley and our Guest Service Support team helps in creating a positive and memorable experience for visitors to our winery. The Tasting Room Guest Service Support/Bar Back is responsible for providing back-of-house and floor support in the operations of the Tasting Room. This role involves restocking, cleaning, assisting with service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized and enjoys working in a hospitality setting
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist Tasting Room staff by restocking wine, glassware, and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tasting Room.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down. Moving tables and chairs to accommodate reservations. Clear and reset tasting tables throughout the day.
  • Support Wine Educators by running food, polishing glasses, and providing water to guests in the Tasting Room.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service when needed, such as greeting guests and answering basic questions about PEJU.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant, or winery settings preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
