Registered Nurse - Community Health & Wellness

PRN - schedule/hours vary

Job Description:

Promote health education and essential healthcare services to the community. Deliver health education programs and conducting various health screenings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, community organizations, and local agencies to address health disparities, promote preventive care, and enhance the quality of life for community members. May require occasional evening or weekend hours to accommodate community events or outreach activities. Travel within the local area may be necessary to attend meetings or visit partner organizations.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program required.

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in health education, health promotion, or related field preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
