Emergency Dept. I Georgetown, KY

Shifts & Hours:

First Shift - full time 36 hrs(7a-7p)

Third Shift- full time 36 hrs (7p-7a)

Second Shift- full time 24 hrs (10a-10p)

First Shift - part time 24hrs (7a-7p)

Third Shift - part time 24hrs (7p-7a)

Description ED-RN:

Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.

Assessment of patients' needs.

Development of patient care plans.

Provision of direct care.

Management of patient care delivery.

Demonstrate leadership skills.

Support for quality care.

Customer relations and healing environment.

Requirements ED-RN:

One year of experience.

Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.

Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.

Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.

ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
