Seeking Registered Nurse!

Part-Time (12 Hours/ Weekly), Days (7A-7P)

Baptist Health ER & Urgent CareSellersburg

Job Duties:

In this role, theRN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers in an ER/Urgent Care setting.

About the Department:

This hybrid emergency room and urgent care provides both types of care to patients conveniently under one roof. Patients will receive the appropriate level of care in a simple, cost effective one-stop location. The emergency room will provide care on a 24/7 basis with transport services available to handle high-acuity emergency situations needing surgery. Nurses at this location will have a background or training in emergency care. On-site imaging and laboratory services are also available.

Qualifications:

Graduate of approved nursing program.

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

PALS required within 12 months of hire.

ACLS required within 12 months of hire.

NIH Stroke Scale Certification required within 10 weeks of hire.

Previous ER experience preferred.
