Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team at Baptist Medical Center. This is a day shift, location and shifts may vary between Monday - Saturday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.

Baptist Health has full-service pathology labs that deliver accurate, timely diagnostic results with comprehensive testing capabilities, advanced technology, and expert pathological analysis to support your patient care decisions. Outpatient lab work and specimen collection services are available at several Baptist Health locations throughout Northeast Florida.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
  • Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
  • Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
  • Utilizing computer functions.
