Bank Administration Lead

About Your Role:

As a Bank Administration Lead at Dollar Tree's corporate office, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Bank Administration function while supporting critical treasury initiatives. You'll lead workload distribution, partner with cross-functional teams, and help maintain efficient banking processes that support the organization's financial operations. Through your support and expertise, you'll help ensure banking activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Team Leadership & Operational Support

  • Distribute and manage the daily workload of Bank Administration Associates.
  • Monitor department productivity and maintain performance metrics.
  • Provide weekly productivity reporting and updates to Treasury leadership.
  • Train, coach, and support Bank Administration Associates on operational procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within established service levels.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across the Bank Administration function.

Banking Administration & Account Management

  • Prepare and coordinate the execution of bank account documentation.
  • Establish and maintain online banking services for new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and assign financial institutions for banking changes and coordinate communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Load and update banking information in internal systems.
  • Maintain tracking logs related to bank accounts, bank changes, and authorized signers.
  • Ensure banking records and documentation remain accurate and up to date.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Issue Resolution

  • Partner with Store Operations, Asset Protection, and other business partners to execute cross-functional initiatives.
  • Serve as a key resource for banking process improvements and operational projects.
  • Collaborate with banking partners to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Support the Banking team with system-related issues, reconciliations, and process enhancements.
  • Assist with special projects and department initiatives as needed.

Your Required Skills and Experience:

  • Associate degree or 1-2 years of relevant banking, treasury, or financial operations experience.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous banking or treasury operations experience.
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems and online banking platforms.
  • Experience working with bank proprietary systems.
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Prior leadership, training, or workload coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with account reconciliations and banking controls.

Start Rate = $20.75-$23.50 based on experience.
