We are looking for a seasoned Business Banking Support Officerin Irvine, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing the business banking portfolio by ensuring strong portfolio management, monitoring pricing and lending workflows, supporting credit processes, and coordinating across stakeholders to drive profitability, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for comprehensive oversight of the business banking portfolio, ensuring strong portfolio management practices and adherence to all covenant requirements. 
  • Monitors pricing exceptions and maintains visibility into deposit and loan pricing across the portfolio to support profitability and risk management. 
  • Serves as the affiliate liaison for business banking, facilitating communication and coordination across key stakeholder groups. 
  • Monitors business lending support functions, application processing and pipeline management of active deals to ensure workflow efficiency and timely progression. 
  • Acts as a resource for credit prescreens and preparation of credit presentations, contributing to sound credit decisioning and portfolio quality. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in finance, Business or other related field and 4 years' experience in business process analysis, portfolio management, relationship management, underwriting and credit experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. 
  • Extensive knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow, and process improvement recommendations. 
  • Extensive knowledge of various types of loans, credit analysis, spreading and analyzing financial statements, risk analysis, credit scoring, loan documentation, etc. 
  • Strong working knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations. 
  • Ability to solve problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data. 
  • Strong analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $117,000 - $144,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
