Job description

About Us

We’re a residential mortgage brokerage expanding into the Miami market after years of successfully helping clients across California and the West Coast. We specialize in complex loan scenarios—jumbo, non-QM, bank statement, portfolio, and foreign national—and pride ourselves on delivering responsive service with a high-touch, boutique feel backed by a seasoned operations team.

We’re expanding into the Miami market with a focused strategy and are actively building our local team to lead that growth. We plan to open a physical office later this year—likely in Brickell or a convenient part of Downtown Miami with reliable parking access. This role starts remote, with a shift to hybrid or in-office work expected once our physical location is finalized.

We’re also a tech-forward team—candidates who embrace tools like AI to streamline workflows and enhance accuracy will feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

  • Process a pipeline of residential mortgage loans from submission through clear-to-close—primarily jumbo, non-QM, bank statement, portfolio, and foreign national programs
  • Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, escrow/title agents, and lender underwriters to collect documents, satisfy conditions, and meet deadlines
  • Handle complex condo transactions, including limited reviews, non-warrantable properties, reserve requirements, and investor overlays common in the South Florida market
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready digital files and proactively update stakeholders throughout the loan process
  • Manage a pipeline of approximately 20–30 active files, including submissions, conditions, and cleared-to-close loans depending on complexity
  • Navigate lender platforms (e.g., Arive, LendingPad) and interpret AUS findings (DU, LP, or manual underwrites)

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience processing residential mortgage loans, including non-QM, bank statement, or foreign national programs
  • Strong working knowledge of condo lending requirements and local real estate dynamics in the Miami area
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish—many of our South Florida clients prefer to communicate in Spanish
  • Familiarity with multi-state files and wholesale lender platforms
  • Based in the Miami metro area, with the ability to start remote and transition to hybrid/in-office later this year
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a responsive loan team
  • Open to using AI tools to enhance productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiency

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation: base salary plus per-file bonus, with total comp based on experience and production volume
  • Remote flexibility to start, with expected shift to hybrid or in-office once our Miami location is open
  • This is a W-2 position that includes UHC Choice Plus medical insurance. Additional benefits may be added in 2026 as our Miami team grows.
  • A chance to grow with a brokerage building its presence in South Florida from the ground up
  • Exposure to high-value loan files and a variety of borrower profiles
  • Direct access to ownership and a tight-knit ops team that values speed, accuracy, and professionalism
Industry
  • Financial Services
