Job Description:

The Project Manager II is responsible for driving and delivering projects with limited supervision, ensuring alignment with business and enterprise strategies. The role involves managing projects of varying size and complexity, from concept through final implementation and post-project assessment, and may include providing direction to other Project Managers. Ideally someone coming from a consultancy background, highly polished is desirable.

Key Notes:

  • Ideally find someone with 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, some AI-CoPilot experience would be great.
  • PMP certified if less than 10 years as a PM.
  • Scrum Certified if less than 10 years Scrum experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the project management process and deliverables from initiation through closure, including in-house development and third-party vendor product implementation.
  • Manage multiple projects in varying phases simultaneously.
  • Define project scope, budget, timelines, and milestones collaboratively with business partners.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage communication with key stakeholders, ensuring awareness of significant changes promptly.
  • Identify and investigate project dependencies and risks, ensuring effective mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Organize and lead checkpoint meetings with regular project status updates.
  • Control change to project scope using accepted change processes and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other Project Managers.
  • Develop an understanding of the technical and business aspects of projects to effectively manage resources.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 7 10 years of experience delivering technology projects and solutions
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • PMP Certified or 10 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Certified Scrum Master or 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Minimum 2 years of Scrum Master experience
  • Experience within banking or financial services environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
